DX8 // Mapping Edition

The DX8 is an intelligent and fully autonomous platform designed for accurate air data acquisition and high resolution. This system is able to provide critical information to industries such as agriculture, construction, mining, land and resource management to name a few. Very useful for any area or business that needs constant monitoring and detail. This platform allows the user to capture data in an easy, fast, at low cost and with greater frequency than through manned or satellite imagery.

The DX8 includes an RGB camera that can take pictures with resolutions of up to 2 cm / pixel. The charging system is modular and therefore can be adapted to other sensors, such as NIR, Multi-spectral cameras or other capture.

The mapping edition also includes a full license of the software Pix4D Mapper Pro, which can process data captured with DX8 and generate products such as Ortho-photographs, point clouds and DSMs among others

How does it work?

The workflow is completely automated and separated into three simple steps. Plan, Fly and Process!

Plan

Create a flight plan based on the resolution, precision and the area you want to capture, upload it to the UAV and you are ready to fly.

Fly

Push a button, and throw the DWing in the air and our systems will take care of the rest. Capable of a fully autonomous takeoff and landing and with failsafe systems that ensure the return home in case of a failure you won’t have to do much more.

Process

Once the flight is finished just import the images into Pix4D and generate the products you need.
