DWing // Mapping Edition

Droidika’s D-Wing is based on the 3DR Aero-M. This system is ideal for highly detailed and constant monitoring of large areas. It is designed to capture high resolution and highly precise aerial data. Its modular camera bay allows the use of a wide range of sensors from high resolution RGB sensors to multi-spectral cameras making it an ideal platform for aerial mapping of large areas.

D-Wing can be outfitted with a 20.1 MP camera that can be remotely controlled from a ground station or from a scripted mission plan. It can also carry multi-spectral cameras capable of capturing Green, Red, and NIR bands or up to 6 different bands. We can also customize it to carry other types of sensors according to your particular application.

Our mapping edition includes a full license of Pix4D Mapper Pro, this allows you to process all the data captured by our DWing and generate point clouds, DSMs and ortho-photos in an easy and automated way.

How does it work?

The workflow is completely automated and separated into three simple steps. Plan, Fly and Process!

Plan

Create a flight plan based on the resolution, precision and the area you want to capture, upload it to the UAV and you are ready to fly.

Fly

Push a button, and throw the DWing in the air and our systems will take care of the rest. Capable of a fully autonomous takeoff and landing and with failsafe systems that ensure the return home in case of a failure you won’t have to do much more.

Process

Once the flight is finished just import the images into Pix4D and generate the products you need.
