Aerial mapping with UAVs is safe, efficient and profitable. Our systems have the ability to generate accurate and reliable maps with short turn around times. We have a wide range of UAVs which can be used in small spaces with limited takeoff areas or in large areas of over 500 ha.

Droidika’s systems use state of the art software to calculate point clouds, digital surface models, and ortho-mosaics. And for areas where the software does not produce quality results, we can employ other processes with which we can generate any product that traditional photogrammetry can generate.

The results generated by our UAVs can be complemented with data from traditional surveys, terrestrial LiDARs or other sources to generate and deliver a complete and accurate final product to our customer.

Process Workflow

Our interaction with our customer starts with the exchange of the area to be surveyed. The customer gives us the area and the requirements for the products like resolution, accuracy, bands to be captured. We then plan the survey and provide a quote. Once the quote is accepted we capture the information needed with our systems and then process the information to generate the expected results.
Using advanced tools like 3DR flight controllers and software like Pix4D and we process the data and make it available to our customer in a variety of formats including cloud based tools, that can then be used and imported to profesional GIS software like ArcGIS or AutoCad.

Photogrammetry is the science of making measurements from photographs.
The output of photogrammetry is typically a map, drawing, measurement, or a 3D model of some real-world object or scene. Many of the maps we use today are created with photogrammetry and photographs taken from aircraft.
The error in a photogrammetric product is directly proportional to the resolution of the images. Our systems are capable of using high-resolution sensors capturing images at resolutions up to 7mm / pix, with this type of sensors we can create accurate products with an error as low as 2 cm.
